I don't really follow computer parts much these days but that looks like a pretty nice rig to me. That is about what I paid to built a decent gaming PC a year or so ago.

I think you could build much cheaper. You are paying for Vista there. Depends on how you feel about getting Windows "elsewhere"

The graphics card is lacking a little. Thats the only major sacrifice i can see.

9600gt ?? Pretty good card. I'm still running an 8800gt which I prefer to it, but still a good card.

819 WITHOUT an O/S but I used a quality power supply and decent ram instead of whatever they would put in the system (not saying they would use junk but that is an easy way to get a price down)
Also, I would recommend reducing the RAM to 4gb (takes about 65 off the price) as you really just don't need that amount of RAM unless your really doing some heavy editing or visual production. I also upgraded to a 9800GT video card. Also, I used an Intel Extreme motherboard utilizing the same P45 chipset (was trying to go apples to apples where I could)
Legit version of the same vista is 99.97. So a LONG way to get to your answer. No, I do not think it is a great deal. If you can assemble a PC, you would get better graphics, more reliable power, better motherboard, higher grade ram and a more functional (albeit less flashy) case. I would prefer a "P" series Antec case or a 900 series, but that would take you a bit over the price. You can build this system with a legit version of Vista for almost exactly what you were going to pay.
You also pay about 25 for shipping from newegg, all of my prices were including shipping.
Crunktime members also get a discount through MOT on here. I haven't looked at his prices.

The couple things i thought of changing was the graphics card and power supply. Ill probably just build one. ANy links top the cases you are talking about? Does MOT get discounts on everything? Thanks for the help.
Nevermind the discount part i found it.
See if MOT can build a machine to match it and beat the price...

I'm pretty much stuck on Antec cases but there are many great cases out there....I'll grab you the links to what I use.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811129025&Tpk=Antec%20P182 These may not be the best prices, just showing you for reference. I use these cases on all of my builds for a few reasons. They have a noise dampening layer on the whole case, puts the power supply below and closes off that area so the heat from it goes directly out, the case is very easy to work with, hard drive bay is removable, filtered air intakes.
The 900 series I have not used but it is another solid built case (I used to use SoHo cases by Antec before the P series) I take that back, I do not like the air flow of the 900. Seems like it would leave pockets for heat to linger.
