Has anybody used both of these items? I currently use N.O. Explode but need to order more and the blackpowder seems pretty promising. I know that the no explode works for me but just considering other options.

Both = waste of money IMO

If they were the same price I'd go with Black Powder though seeing as how it actually has ingredients that may can help you grow.

I took SuperPump 250 awhile before I realized that caffeine pills gave me about the same energy boost. Lately I haven't been using any pre-workout supps though

NO xplode and Blackpowder are not just energy products. They are a nitric oxide product, that has "energy" supplements added. To be honest the best NO product that I have seen out there is the NO2 platinum by MRI. They are the originators of the nitric oxide products. The black powder is their "new formula, but The NO2 platinum takes all the crap you really don't need out of it and leaves you with the main ingredient of A-AKG (arginine alpha-ketoglutarate). I try and keep my clients away from products that have "proprietary blend" in the labels, as you don't know exactly how much of what you are getting. The blend may say you are getting 3000mg of the "blend" but may only be getting 50mg of the ingredient you actually want/need.

I'm aware of that however the op didn't state a certain reason and its safe to infer based on the product its for pre-workout sup.

Also what weight class do you compete in for bbing?

My first show I ever competed in and won was as a junior, so there was no weight class. I weighed 150 lbs. on stage and competed against guys who weighed up to 213 lbs. I then won my next show as a welter weight at 159 lbs. It has been a while since I competed, so I hope to step on stage at the north american all naturals at about 174-178 lbs. And I am 5 foot 4.

That's pretty solid right there. I've thought about doing a show next year at around 160lbs. Normally I weigh around 170. But for now I want to compete in Squat at PL competition just needs some comps around my area.

Thanx. You must be sitting at like 4-5% BF if you only plan on shedding 10lbs. for a show. You'll lose that much easily just in water! I'm sitting just over 200lbs. right now @ approx. 12% for off season. Plan on losing 25-30lbs to step on stage.

Power lifting is a whole different ball game. I train with a half dozen or so world champion and world record holders in Power lifting. They are absolute beasts. Nobody even notices you in my gym unless you are pushing 400lbs.+ on bench. Lol. We have a few guys pushing over 500lbs.

I'm not quite that low. I have good vascularity right now around 168lbs I'm no expert but maybe around 10-9% abs start to show relaxed at around 163lbs. I probably would need to go a lil lower maybe 155 I dunno this is where all the learning comes in I've never competed in BB.

I threw up 380x2@164.4lbs at 18 years of age and 375x3@168.4lbs at 18 years of age. When a comp rolls around I'm going to shoot for 390-395x1@170lbs. Btw I'm 5'10

As for bench I dunno I don't know how much success I'd have probably not much. Too me my PR is 225x10 at 172lbs. But then again my one rep max is only 280. Lately I haven't been repping heavy and low on the bench. I've taken more of a hypertrophy approach.

If you plan on competing in powerlifting, you should train spefically for that. If you want I could see if my Buddy Randy Etsell could help you out. He is a North American Champion and world Champion, holds a few records as well. He is a power lifting coach and has trained a lot with the late Bruce Greig, one of the worlds best power lifters. Let me know and I`ll see what I can do.

Thanks I appreciate that. However, I'm more concerned with muscle hypertrophy than powerlifting. Squat is about the only thing I train for sheer strength and power. My legs grow quite a bit too from heavy and low reps. Every other week I try and throw in a x20 in my squats.

But I don't think we are taking about the same things.

Nice, you are pretty shredded in that shot.

You are honestly the kind of person I am always warning my little sisters cocky boyfriends about. Seeing you in a club someone would not even consider you to be that strong.

Kinda makes you wish someone would start shit huh?

Yeah, same here. Kinda unfortunate but yet long term goal is that I've added size, so normally people wouldn't mess with me (I'm not huge, but it's obvious I work out) but honestly i'm really not confrontational and very very laid back. You really have to do something serious to get me worked up.

Well, or be a jackass on the road. I'll straight stop the car and come at ya HA HA

LOL. ya, but it makes it easier for me to look bigger. Put a pound of muscle on me and a pound of muscle on some one 6 feet tall and it's going to make a bigger difference on my frame.

Ohhhhhhh. Ok. That makes more sense (2 days of travel all over ohio makes reading impossible for me).

I was thinking to myself "damn, you need to hit the gym harder".

No worries, I've come to realize I have midgetitis, and I am ready to deal with it. Because of it, I have vowed to become the first man wider than I am tall!

You also have a biomechanical advantage in several lifts. I bet you could powerlift pretty good too if you trained for it.
