With the US military officials and veterans’ organizations having strongly criticized Electronic Arts (EA)’s “Medal of Honor” game, which allows players to assume the role of the Taliban and kill US and British troops, the video game publisher Friday said that it had done away with the contentious role-play of the Taliban.

I agree this is a completely stupid reaction. These families never bitched about games where you could play a Russian, Vietnamese, German, Jap. Does this mean you're never going to have a relatively recent conflict game?
