I loved GT2 and 3. Never bothered with 4. On the 360 I bought Grid and I liked that but it didn't have the upgrade customization that you had in granT. Overall I'm kinda done with racing games. I did enjoy the shit out of need for speed 1 being that that was my first racing game playable over the net on the ps2. I got really good at it.

Well I've got the game and have been playing it on and off this week (maybe 6 hours). Done a bit of A Spec, B Spec, and the Special events but have spent the most time on the License tests. Staying with the all gold approach, I'm up to IC-10 but it's a bish to gold. I can silver no problem but gold is almost impossible task.

B Spec isn't bad if you want to make money on auto-pilot and with the special events the Samba bus fawkin kills me.

Overall the game is a 3.5/5 without a wheel. The graphics are nowhere near as good as anticipated, the game itself is meh, but as a racing sim it's pretty great.

One other thing I don't care for is that you can't do qualifying laps and always get stuck somewhere in the middle. Unless I'm overlooking something?

Overall, I like the game so far. Trying to gold medal license tests is a near impossibility most of the time, so I settle for silver.

I've reached level 26 in A-spec and 27 in B-spec.

The seasonal events are the money makers, you actually make enough on those to cost the required car plus all racing mods. The experience is the part thats worth it.

It seems grinding the Indy Speed Way in the extreme a-spec american car series is the fastest way to make money.

can do the 5 laps in less then 5 minutes, and you make 112,000.

20% of cars are premium, 80% are standard, some look like they came directly ported from the PSP.

shit crap cash/xp rewards.

0, yes 0 (zero) rally races that you can use your own cars in. although you can buy snow/mud/dirt tires. there are three rally challenges where you use a car that is provided for the race.

no snow courses.

limited track selection... really. not that much.

cant take certain things off of cars (should be able to do anything with enough money)

no cars can match the races cars, so the premium models = nothing you want to drive.
