Have any of you tried these? I am thinking of getting a couple to make a cheap dorm room ht system. They are pretty cheap on PE, and I get paid tomorrow, plus my battery finally sold.

Jake from sundown used to have some of their mids. They were decent from what I remember.

Hrm....Might give it a try depending on how much money I have left over from bills etc.

I was told that goldwood is crap when I asked about them on SSA and some other home audio forum.

Well, they are crap, but that's why they're priced that way.

for cheap they can't be that bad...$20 bass > no bass

I had a set of 6.5" that were decent compared to a set of cheap pioneers I had. I only paid $24 for the pair so I think it was a pretty good deal.

I want it for an ht setup though, and would rather not waste money for something that I won't be satisfied with in the end. I need to save money right now anyways so......
