Buying a motor and basket and reconing it

is it worth it? i can get a Fi Bl motor and 15" basket for about 100-120 shipped, a recone for a Bl with the options i want comes out to around 120, plus shipping to Fi and shipping back, so i say total will be around $280 or so. what do you guys think????:uhoh:

Hell, you can get an 18" for 300 - 325 shipped (used). I'd say buy a new one, or get a used 18.

the new bl's is expensive :( a new 09 12" bl comes out to 334 plus shipping with the options i want, ill prolly just wait and see if i can get a used one on the cheaps

I've done a shitload of transactions and haven't had trouble, you just have to be smart. Go through paypal, and keep in contact with who it is. Check their refs and search their name for bad business, too.

Also, if they're active in other parts of the board, that helps too. Most of the people who had rep that ended up scamming were usually only posting in the classifieds to begin with.
