This animal that I have never seen previously decides to make this crazy shrill noise so I turn around and notice this bird:

As you can see, he is pretty weird looking. He has a red beak and green feet. He starts fighting my window, clawing it and pecking it with his beak. I thought it was pretty funny so I went to get my iPhone to take pictures. Then, another one shows up

I definitely think he wanted to fight me

I tried to get an action shot of him freaking out on my window, but the picture didn't take in time. As you can see, his wings are still a little out from his duel with my glass

Reminds me of the wild turkeys that come around my house and bang their beaks against my window.. scares the crap outta me when I'm asleep and wake up to it because the window is right next to my bed.

And the reason for the banging.... The birds see their reflection in the window and think its another bird..Almost all birds are territorial or have a pecking order, and fight to establish dominance...The dumbasses want to fight their reflection is what it amounts too.

I have heard of bucks charging and running through windows of buildings before for the same reason.
