I got a good deal by checking the returns. Found one someone returned after a day or two because the edge gave. The edge of it does not give, and there is no dead hooker smell so i'm fairly sure that the person either didn't like the mattress or was a broke ass. 600 dollhair mattress and spring for 175. No complaints.

agreed. I've only got the 3 bedrooms carpeted here, and the master is going back to hard wood this summer. That is the nice thing about this house, real oak flooring throughout. Some rooms just need to be sanded down and clear coated again.

my house was built when hardwood flooring was the standard, not an option.

I've drilled a couple holes in the living room so I can run cable under the floor, and it's 2 layers of 3/4" thick oak tongue and groove boards, one over the other with opposing directions between the two. Place is built to the hilt.
