I'm an alchy, so I pick drink. BBQ's are fun, and usually their are pools. Therefore you could drink AND fuck :fyi:

So far, mowed the lawn front and back, cleaned up some the side yard, made a kick ass breakfast and washed the bikes....working on a case study for business law, then off to the gym.

To answer your question, ride more, drink less...you can drink anytime you want.

Seriously though....bikes are dangerous enough without adding drinking to the mix. Be safe out there. Last year 3 riders that I know died :(

Sorry didn't read page 1 totally :blush:

First one was his fault....high speed riding during a busy time on a busy highway.....tried to switch lanes and misjudged, went into the side of a car and the impact threw him over the car and into the median, broke his neck on impact to the grass.

Second wasn't actually directly a friend....it was my co-workers son. He was in La on a back road, lady lost control and went over center into him....she tore a main artery in his leg and he bled out right there.

Third guy was directly a friend. He was a member of my Ducati clubhouse. He had just got back from his 2nd tour in Iraq was going back to his normal job, first day out, van pulled out in front of him and killed him on impact. The police said the van came out so quickly that although he engaged his brakes (he actually reacted) that there just wasn't enough room to stop. This one hit me the hardest....just a terrific guy. Kinda the "oh you need that, I've got one and don't even think about trying to give me money for it" kinda guy.

Just fucks me up everytime I hear about someone getting hurt or dying on bikes. I'd say almost all the accidents/deaths from people I know on bikes happen because someone else didn't "see" them.

Bah, I'm a kill joy and old I know :(

Yeah, the white bike is actually hers. She hasn't rode since motorcycle training though. She is endorsed and has her permanent license, but we got that, had one bike, I bought hers for her in the winter, she got pregnant, and she just hasn't rode since.
