Well, there's your problem. You haven't let any of the women in your life know that they are subservient to you.

I usually buy the cheapest $50 name brand one I can find on sale and use the shit out of it. This last one we have had 9 years and it has not missed a beat, I don't see why anyone would pay $400+ on one of those dysons.

Because the $100 one my mom bought doesn't work anymore...at least not very well.

dyson are actually ok....but I still like mine
I've never had good luck with cheap sweepers. And we have a crappy one that I can use and then if I use my oreck, I can totally see a difference.
Now I wouldn't actually BUT an oreck but my wife's mom owns a cleaning company. She gave it to us.

I had a Eureka canister, older than me, that shrieked like all nine circles of hell when turned on...I since got a Hoover upright off the free section of CL that just needed a bag and a new power cord, works great.

I just get stuff like that on craigslist used. I don't see the point of spending all the money to get a vacuum new. I do prefer the vacuums that you don't have to change the bags on though.

You know commercial "sucked" ya in (like pulled you to get it) or the vacuum (which is the sole purpose of a vacuum, to suck).

these orecks are nice, very powerful. I used one at the place I worked for a while. Every saturday we came in to replace the cieling tiles then had to vacuum after. I just think its funny how many people by a whole new vacuum because just the belt broke.

Yeah, I agree. Good thing about getting an Oreck is the upkeep is covered in the price.
