that is the ONLY jailbreak that should be performed. it takes less than 30 seconds. just update to 3.55 via software update like normal, then go back and perform the instructions above.

That requires a dondle attachment for now until the devs crack the hrdware of the dondle........ Hold your breath it wont be long.

Well if I was planning to do this simply for emulation purposes, I already have multiple systems that can do it. No reason to risk my newest, most expensive system. I will probably wait for some more info before I jump into this. Will be watching closely however.

Games are really the last of my use for the ps3. I use it for playing my seasons of squidbillies, aqua teen, boondocks, and south park (i have managed to squeeze every single episode from ever season of all those onto the HD and still have room).

My psp is all custom firmware and plays all emulators so it already does everything, but I'm very close to my ps3 replacing everything short of my iPad and such, which is also jailbroken and hacked all to hell.
