I'm trying to find a battery mount for an optima g31 yellow top but I'm not having any luck :crap:

Fabricate, phaggot.
It is as simple as building an mdf box around the battery, and covering that bitch with carpet, then securing that. Obviously you leave the top part open.

I refuse to fabricate anything, hell I'm not even making my box, lol. I don't have time for all that non-sense.
Just let it slide around, works good for my amps

I made a custom fiberglass mount. Works great, looks great. The joys of building waterslides for a living in the past.

Those are made for the Group 34's. Won't fit the G31.

Find two sturdy points to drill screws, get 1" strapping, run strapping across top of battery, screw down ends of strapping. Congrats, you are a messican (nothing new)

This. In my civic there is an area where the stock car jack locks up and has a loop between the trunk wall and the brace. I just ran my strap thru that and laid the battery down against it then strapped it to the wall. Put some pool noodle foam under the batt and between the back wall to cushion it then strapped it tight. As of yesterday when I pulled it out it never had any issues or moved.
Hoss's idea is pretty much the same thing but just takes a little more work. Mine was just there and worked perfectly.

Make sure the metal strapping runs over the two posts on the battery, as well.

Wouldn't hurt to connect the two as well.

Just use duct tape or a belt.

Who said anything about metal strapping?
