Recommend me some tweeters for my daily driver build.
Will be ran active with some Ascendant Audio Carbon 7" mids in the doors.
Budget: Ummm, not really sure. $100/pair is about max I think.

I abso-fuckin-lutely love my TBI HDSS tweeters, I got them on a group buy a few years back... so not sure on current price...
I picked up two pairs. Still have a pair stashed away.

Also still have these paired with AA Poly-mids for my stereo mains, with right xover and placement... they are quite nice.

I've got a set of Alpine Type-x (SPX-177R) in my car right now. I believe they have the XT19 tweets, I know they are Vifa's though. Work very well.

These, perfect match. We both know of a certain ascendant dealer with a bunch of the carbons in his doors. We tried different sets of tweeters I had laying around with the LPg's winning over some much much more expensive options.

Big key to ring radiators. Gotta get those bishes almost completely on axis most of the time. I love those vifa's, I have them in my center and surrounds lol

Those are nice, but lack some output when used in single pairs. He has freaking 5 of them in each door lol
I may have to get a set of these to go with the MLI-6 drivers... well... if that preorder is still happening.
Naturally you picked something PE doesn't carry, lol.

I am currently using these Vifas NE19's
http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=264-1008
So far I am loving them, even for an alloy driver they have performed quite nice. The alloy dome really brings a crispiness to high hat sounds from drums.
Another favorite are the CSS ERT26's cheap yet awesome! I own 2 sets. One set is in my Home Theater the other are my backup pair, might soon go into the car.

YES. More than enough.
Also, you do realize that an 8ohm tweeter will in general have a higher sensitivity than a 4ohm tweeter, right? Tweeters do not need much.
My fucking 4ohm tweeters are on a kicker 200.2, so around "50watts" per tweeter... and I have barely touched the gain up on them and have them at -6dB on my HU, haha.

I was on the fence about it because frankly I just don't know much power they really needed.
Could have just said all that in the first place instead of being a douchenozzle about it.
But I guess I shouldn't expect anything more from you.

Use music you are really familiar with. Listen on some head phones, or a home reference system. I would start out with the tweeters firing right across at each other. Then listen...
does the sound seem compressed between the tweeters ( narrow ) try moving the tweets a little more on axis. Does sound pull your eyes to one side or the other? Try turning the side that it is pulling AWAY from more on axis.
