Ive had a Exaust leak ever since ive bought my truck and recently found out its the EGR tube which is a pain to replace.. so i brought it to a mechanic they said depending how hard it is to get bolts off because they seize up will determine the price but if they had no problems it will only cost about 170 with parts and labor.. bout to go up there to find out the total damage.. they said it could go up to 500 if they had alot of problems... dropped it off at 7AM and called and they said it will be another 20 minutes... so thats nearly 8 hours labor =/

well called plenty of shops they all said if those bolts break off labor doubles because they have to drill the bolts out or whatever.. i just want it done

I still would have went somewhere that didn't say might.. cause shit.. they could break them on purpose just to make it take longer... Or since you didn't stay they could just say they broke and hold the truck longer even if it was done.. that and if you sign a work order it should have the pricing and and should say total not to exceed $50 or a $100 of total or a percentage..
