I was debating on whether or not to stop and get a cup of coffee this morning, and decided that its just a few bucks, so fuck it. I went into the starbucks near my house, and there was a bit of a line. There was one girl running the cash register, and the other girl was taking orders and preparing the drinks. She asked me what I wanted and I told her just a large coffee. She put the cup over near the coffee dispenser and went back to what she was doing.
In the meantime, I realize that I didnt have my wallet. I walked up to the girl taking orders, told her that I didnt have my wallet on me and that she could just take my cup out of the way and discard my order. She looks at me and says "oh its OK, we can give you one". I tell her that it is fine, and she insists on giving me the free coffee.
On top of this, she stops what she is doing and goes and pours my coffee, so not only was my coffee free, but I didnt even have to wait in line lol. It was pretty awesome.
