What are BCAAs?

High doses of Tribulus is supposed to increase a man's libido lol

Glucosamine is used for joint pain

BCAAs are the 3 branced amino acids (L-Valine, L-Isoleucine, L-Leucine) They help protein and muscle synthesis. Just about any whey protein contains the BCAA's along with other essential aminos acids.

No they don't smell. Back in the day some would cause fish burps but almost every band has a lil no fish purp tag on them nowadays.

I buy the big 400 size softgels Spring valley from walmart. 1000MG and I take two a day. Some people take more some take less all depends on your diet and goals.

The benefits are in abundance here is just a few

Decreased anxiety and improved mental function
better skin and hair.

What are BCAAs?

Not knocking you, but if your wanting to become a personal trainer and don't know what BCAAs are you better do a lot of studying or rethink it.

I don't take BCAAs when I am bulking as I get in all I need from eating. But if my protein intake isn't too my liking for a certain day, or if I miss some meals or something, I pop several BCAA tabs.

I do have an understanding of Branched Chain Amino Acids. I have studied protein synthesis, the 8essential(10 for children) amino acids our body cannot manufacture. Incomplete and complete proteins and how to combine incomplete proteins to make a complete protein. However, in my text I haven't seen the abbreviation BCAAS.

I've heard of people taking a shot before working out before because it thins the blood, and theoretically would increase blood flow. I don't think that it has any benefits though

The whole alcohol before working out thing was first started by Arnold himself. But he use to have two beers before his workouts, because 1) yes, he believed it thinned the blood out which in theory would give you a better blood pump and 2) he believed it was a great way to consume complex carbs to fuel him through his workouts.

On paper, both principals make sense. Do they actually work, :shrug:. If it gives you that mental edge in your workouts even if it is a placebo effect, all the power to ya.

I haven't done a lot of research on it as I don't try and preach this technique to my clients, and I myself don't drink. Again, this was started back in the day by Arnold, so we are talking the 1970's. There wasn't as much biology and chemistry involved in there training like there is today.

I try to limit myself to 1-2 nights of drinking a week, because I typically lose 3lb of water weight when I weigh myself the morning after. (serious)

Plus I always heard alcohol messes with metabolism and can decrease testosterone levels. :gay:

any one use citicoline? I have some sample coming of a new type that is supposed to be highly absorbable. I never really take anything but a vitamin a day my self but my brother is crazy about all that kind of stuff.

Yeah am right now.

I lost 10lbs in 6 weeks the first time I did a stack that started in Feburary. Stayed off it 8 weeks and am now doing another stack for the next 8 weeks.

Last summer I tried Lipo 6... Weight sheds a lot faster with the ECA stack and diet/cardio is about the same.

I have also heard Aspirin isn't necessary but I have never used the EC/A stack

Its a proven effective old school technique. It's really not that hard. I could probably drink more than a gallon a day. On squat days I'll make it be a gallon of chocolate milk a day 180 calories a cup mmmmmm.

Wow 4 bucks a gallon that shit would suck!! I live in Salt Lake city and I can always find milk for 1.50 a gallon. Shit I don't even think the organic milk is 4 bucks a gallon here.

And yea I'm going to gain some fat but that's just part of bulking.
