Help a bro out v. find a weight bench.

So my old trusty weight bench has about bit the dust. The wood is breaking and leading to an unstable bench which leads to unstable leg extensions/curls/preacher curls.


I have searched the internetz for a similar bench but cannot find one under like $300. I'm not spending that much money on a fucking bench.


So here it is.

Requirements: Adjustable for inclines/declines, leg extension/curl attachment, preacher curl attachment.

Save your money, go to the craft store and buy 2-3" of foam, get vynil or fake leather w/e, and go to home depot and buy some plywood.
Remove the old bench seats/cushions and strip the stuff off them. Use the rotted wood as antemplate and trace it on the plywood. With a jigsaw cut out the pattern and sand the edges a little smooth. Trace the new board on the foam and cut out the foam pattern. Lay vynil on floor, lay foam on vynil, lay new board on foam, have someone stand on board to press the foam while you tug the vynil and staple gun the vynil to the board.
Done.
I spent maybe 30 bucks to redo mine cause my wood started rotting on mine and became unstable.

I don't do much in the retail sales, as I'm mainly commercial sales, and the cheapest for a bench is ~$600. Commercial benches don't allow for leg developer or preacher curl attachments. I can ask one of the retail girls if you really want. Doubt shipping will be cheap though.

I was amazed at the price of commercial benches.

Commercial benches have to be able to stand up to shit and abuse for 16+ hours/day, not an hour a day for 3 or 4 times a week. I have benches that cost close to $1500 as well. Nice benches, but not a lot of people can afford them.

This is one of the companies I carry. Absolutely love their equipment. They're really known for their power cages. Some of the beefiest cages I've ever used.
