Alright bros, just got some prorasso and omega soaps, give me some info please. This stuff is sort of a hybrid between a hard cake and a cream? Do I still put some hot water on the surface of it before loading the brush like I would with a hard soap?

I would still splash some hot water just to keep my face moist, then let it air dry a bit. Proraso is more of a creme, so it's not going to lather with water. Apply it by hand if you can as a brush really isn't needed for it.

Thanks bro. I softened the omega with hit water yesterday for my shave, dumped the water then went in with the brush. It needs a little water, but not much. It is (from what I understand) harder than a regular cream but softer than a puck of soap. It definitely lathers well though.

You had all tools you needed to teach yourself. The only one trolling is the one who is pretending like they A) wanted to learn, and B) were incapable of finding and answer for themselves.

If it was really a simple question with a simple answer, someone smart like you should have been able to figure it out :strokeface:
