Another Trip for pl8er v. china

[pl8er]

Took another trip. FAR more travel with this one. I'll kinda break down the pictures but many are just driving.

To summarize what I did. I went from DC to Beijing (12 hour flight), same day got on another plane to Lanzhou (2 1/2 hour flight). I was there for 2 days visiting a supplier. First day we did hours upon hours of meetings. Went and drank and drank....left that place went to another drank more.

Next day visited a temple. Flew out the next morning to another location (1800km) got off the plane and the driver had to take us 2 hours to the hotel.
Was there for a day. Flew to another location quickly after that back to Beijing, visited the olympic site and flew back to Chicago yesterday.

so a bit of story here

We were DRUNK by the time we left the dinner...drove around and they are like "so you guys wanna drink?" HAHAHAHAHA....so we go to this place and drink and play dice games and everytime you lose you have to drink a shot. got rough FAST

Next morning is bad...i'm not hung over (never am while traveling)...so we walk over to the place to eat and eat spicy noodles (not exactly the best thing for a morning after drinking LOL

finally got to the place (we had zero idea wtf we were going) so we find out it really isn't work related, its them just taking us to a park. So dress shoes, dress shirt, pants, drank the night before, spicy noodles, 2 hour bus ride and 85 degree weather, now we are going hiking LOL

its funny that you posted the picture of the new engine. on my flight back from new york, there was what i thought to be smoke just rolling into the cabin of the plane. people were trying to figure out what the hell it was, and i was ROLLING, scared shitless thinking this bitch is gonna catch on fire midflight. turns out it normal or something so i calmed down.

i cant imagine seeing the engine coming down the runway. my mind would be going 100 miles a second thinking about the what ifs when i was on a 12hr flight over the middle of the ocean.
