Pitch fucking black tonight, using an iphone for light. :D Power and water on by 10am wooo hoooo.
I am going to Sherman Williams tomorrow for a few ten gallon buckets of paint and getting this interior painted before I move shit in. There's a lot to be done and changed from the previous owners, but overall it's basically a big ass house with a good layout and bunches of rooms and a big ass garage and huge yard so I am happy and don't give a fuck if I have to do a little painting and change the kitchen floor to something less hideous. Just don't give a fuck, got in the house at the right price and like it a lot. :)

I am hesitant on recessed lighting. I like track lighting more because it provides a good amount of light right where you need it. The only problem is that halogen lights are hot. CFLs are hard to find (in that size) and LEDs are $$$ and tend to come in narrow spot.

You should have learned it in SCHOOL.
The whole patio area in the back, the wall that runs along it (4ft tall) all the garage, the front sidewalk, all the wood at the fence, and the entire driveway, plus the front steps and front of house........ that's what I pressure washed from 9am to 9 pm for 3 days in a row.

According to the realtor I am working with in FL. Split door design adds a $5-10k value. If it has 8ft doors instead of standard 7 adds even more.

wow, that's funny. I'd probably pay less.
Another thing that's weird is that I would pay more for a garage that is in the front whereas realtors say that is worth less.
I guess it's because I am more about practical than aesthetics.

When I bought my house, the house across the street was similar except the garage is in front. My realtor said do not buy that one because it's worth less when you sell. The chicks at my office said they wouldn't buy a home with the garage in the front because it looks tacky. Since women drive most home purchases, I went with the house I have.

Every house out here has a garage in front unless it is worth a million dollars. Garages on the sides and in the backs often times have fucked up entry points that prevent maneuvering properly into the space. That's my only beef with them.

Monster ain't it? Had it in my nook room and it worked fine. Since it's just me and a bitch here, it'll still work fine. Don't even need it. It's just mid america bible belt cliche', nobody eats at the fucking table a anymore.
I hear ya bro. I use my table once a year for Christmas. The rest of the year it is used to fold laundry on.

Kinda wish my house had split garages :/ jelly
I thought that the use of the dining table was one of those moments when you realise you're getting older.
I ... totally going to get flamed for this ... I have dinner parties. Friends come over, I cook up a big feast, we play board games and talk and drink and eat and drink some more. So my table gets used a couple times each month.
The rest of the week, the 'coffee table' in the living room is actually the dining table as we eat and watch the boob toob.
Fascinating insight into my life, I know.

I do those two minus the feast and board games. Add more alcohol though.

Ugh. Can NOT eat at my desk. Desk is for working, not eating .. and you'll get your KB all grungy.
Many of my co-workers eat at their desk .. I can't stand it. Hands on KB .. then food? No fucking thank you.
Devs are so uncivilised.

Booze FTW!

The separate doors are legit. Especially if you have two people using them.
LOL @ OLT finally has a garage but none of his cars left.
Thought about this while outside working on pressure washer, snapped pixxor.

Hung pixxors tonight, easier to just show video than take pics of pics.
