Say you want to make a right turn at night, when you turn on the signal your right headlight goes out until you take the turn and the signal turns off.

You sure it is the headlight and not just the DRL?

The new audi's do this too, although their turn signals are a thin strip of LED's directly under the headlight/DRL assembly.

Does the left headlight do this too?

The left headlight is actually designed to detach from the car and stop traffic so you can make the left turn as fast as possible.

This was done in hommage to Nascar.

I think this gives us a glimpse into the failure that is Dodge.
