Mine would be either a Dodge Ram SRT-10 that one of my bosses owns.. never got to open it up on the highway but would guess it would smoke an LS2 GTO which is probably the second fastest car I have driven and was able to get that up to about 110 before backing off.

Right now I am driving a 103hp Scion so I definitely wish I had some speed in my life but would not want to have to pay to fill either of them up.

He was driving a brand new Range Rover Sport, S/C and everything. It was like 4 weeks old. His wife slipped, and fell, and obviously screamed. He, got out of the car, and ran to her... but he forgot to put it in Park. It reversed right into the water and took the boat with it. So, he was out of a brand new car and a nice boat.

Tough call and probably a three way tie between a 69 El Camino SS, my old 350Z and my current RX-8. All were stock, and that was probably the downfall of the El Camino. That thing was a Torque monster, yet the suspension couldnt get it down... the 350 was a modern day torque beast, with a much smaller motor... The RX8 has no torque at all, but once the revs get up there, it freaking goes.

I know, a wide spread of machines, but those are the fastest.

The new 4.2 V6 Mustangs are almost as fast as the old 4.8 V8 Mustangs. A friend of mine has one with a 5 speed tranny, and it has enough torque to chirp the wheels shifting into second. Which isn't bad for a V6. It has a lot of get-up-and-go. I can't wait 'til they're as cheap as modern day V6's. I'll snatch one up in a second.

I'm not really sure, but I lack experience with them. They are powerful engines, no doubt, and with the stock block and stock internals, you can manage to get a lot of power to them. But, I think stock it's kind of bogged. My brother's had his truck since '05, and it's an '03, and it's had a lot of problems from stuck thermostats, to messed up ignition system. You name it... but, to be fair... his girlfriend drives it a lot.

I didnt like it either but the steering wheel on the car was leather and brushed aluminum and it got really slippery if your hands were moist and in the summers the metal on it got sooo hot you couldnt even touch it.

I am really amazed at how well Mustangs hold up to be honest, even if you beat the shit out of them day in and day out it is not surprising to see them hit 200k without anything but oil changes.

Just for the record, it wasnt a Wal-Mart steering wheel cover. It was a piece of leather that you wrap around it and then wrap another strip of leather over it to secure it down. Looked gay, but was pretty comfortable.

Fastest thing I've driven? 230 MPH Freightliner. I didn't drive it at 230 MPH, but they did let me take it around the pits. 4k HP, 4k lb ft of torque. I have pics of me in the truck, but they are real photographs, and I don't have a scanner. I'll see if I can get them scanned. Here is a pic of the truck.
