Going to get my windows tinted. Going to keep it legal.....
Should I do 50% driver/passenger front and 35% rest? Or will it be too noticeably different?

If 35% is legal for your fronts I would go with it. I wanted 35% to match my backs which are just tinted glass from the factory and he put 50% because he was not listening and ended up putting two layers of 50% which he said would still be legal.
Actually went to get my sticker two weeks ago and it failed at 31% and as I started getting red and pissed he said let me clean it and low and behold 35% :)
Not sure if you have gotten tint before or not but you need to make sure you get a quality brand that is not going to fade and look purple in a year. I was lucky enough to find my guy locally doing it out of his house, when I went to Mr Tint even the highest quality they would only guarantee for a year.

Well I ended up going 35% front and 20% back. 50% is legal here, but it just doesn't make sense to me to go that route. I'll get some pictures later.

I think that would be good. I had 40% front/15% back and it was noticeable but still looked good. Just took off the fronts on Wednesday because my girl had to go to court yesterday for it :crap:. Got out of the ticket though :)

This. I got tint not knowing it was crappy and now my windows are purple.

50% is pointless. Good call on 35

Yeah this is all guaranteed for life, the guy has been in business for 23 years and has an A+ rating with the BBB. I'll go snap a pic now. Should have got a pic of the Ralliart while he was over he went 35/15 on a white car. Looks ballin

Don't car jacker peeps break out that little window on the side to smash and grab? I did not realize cars still had those.

Tis true. My car has some pretty advanced security stuff stock though. And the car only has one key port (driver side). Everything else uses FAST wireless now. Satellite recovery too. And I have cameras around my house and at work. I at least "feel" safe.

funny, look at the second picture you can see the reflection of my door...see that black little spec above the door? That is one of my security cameras.

I hurd that. The Caddy I'm looking at can be shut down remotely regardless of where it is. I would be so LOL if it was stolen, driving down the highway at 100 MPH and then all of a sudden shut off.
