Thinking about getting a PSP

Does anyone here have a PSP? Was considering getting this one if he will knock 20 bucks off it http://www.caraudio.com/forum/showthread.php?t=389099

I basically want it for work when I am not poasting to kill some time.

I also want to be able to use burned games so I am pretty sure I need to stick to the older fatter model just not sure if there is anything else I should be looking for.

Yeah for $100 bucks I figure if I have it for a few months and never use it I can also sell it back for about what I paid.

The ability to download games is what mostly appeals to me as I get bored of games rather quickly.

they are worth it after you mod and get free games. the new ones with skype look nice I use skype to talk to all my nerd type friends and while gaming.

That is probably what I will do also, figured I would give it a shot as work gets boring as anything and searching the net and watching movies even gets old after a while.

If I don't use it I should not loose too much having to resell it unless I wait until the PSP2 or something comes out.

If i had the downtime to use it I probably would.

Can't do much at my work, but it is nice to have while travelling. I just haven't done any travelling recently where I wasn't driving.

You can mod the new ones... it's just harder.
And you have to have a game in it to play a downloaded game. I have the first gen PSP, modded. I can just download a game, throw it on the card, and play it. I've never had a game in the cartridge part ever.

But I don't know, I don't really like it. Not enough games for it... and GTA is just lame on it.
I do love how you can suspend playing by just pressing up the power button quick, then resume whenever you want. I liked that feature. Wish all game systems could do that.

You can use it as a PS3 controller. It will say all of the stats on the screen in the middle. It's cool... but when will it ever be easier to look at your hands to see how much HP you have rather than looking at a corner of the screen...? :loco:

I dislike them. It's what I test on at EA games, and imo they suck teh cock. Though I'm sure you won't be testing for bugs while you play or any shit like that.

Getting one this week for 60 bucks needs a new screen but they can be had on ebay for the cheap.

Tell me moar! I searched online and there seems to be about 50 different ways to get this done and I have no idea of the best way.

I just want to download PSP games and play the fuckers on the PSP that is all the functionality I need.
