So I've been reading about crossovers and I will be the first to admit that minus understand a broad overview of how they work, I have no idea how they do it.

I want to learn and I want to build some entry level ones and build upon this. I'm a very long range planner. I see summer at the half way point and I want to start thinking about fall/winter projects. Possibly speakers and crossovers.

Anyone have good resources for the dumb for building this?

Np at all.
The textbook crossovers wont be perfect for any situation but they are a nice place to start getting your feet wet. After you have built some you can always tweak them to dial them in.

Enjoy, that site explains Xover well, even has a calculator to help you decide what cap to select.

Getting a program helps best, something like XoverPro...
