Well, i've had a beer off of someone's porch/sunroom. That could be considered room temp. It was indeed warm beer.

It depends on the beer. I like it chilled a bit, maybe down to around the 60* range at the most. To me it tastes better, served to cold it loses carbonation and deadens your tastebuds.
