I heard they're like $2K :loco:
I heard them talking about those last night, seems like a bit of a stretch to me...
No doubt they look more comfortable, but all of those benefits they were saying seem :loco:

Not as high as that one falcon did when he made that bad ass interception :keke:just imagine Delhomme and Steve Smith wearing one
:wow:
Fuck Delhomme...
Give those mouth pieces to smith, peppers, and stewart, and pay for it out of Delhommes salary... Those three players are his only chance of finishing his career positively.

I always just used the old boil your mouth guard technique for hockey. SHOCK DOCTOR!
Yeah, I dont think those are on par with these things... Although I still maintain the stance that other than comfort there are very few ways a mouthgaurd can differ from another mouthgaurd

If you put a slow release methamphetamine powder coat on it, it could do wonders for active users actually.

hmmm....
The process of properly aligning the jaw position is based on the principles of Neuro-muscular Dentistry, which indicate that a “good” bite is achieved when the muscles of the face, jaw and neck are allowed to be at their most efficient state, which is a restful state. What we have observed, and demonstrate time and again, is an immediate improvement in posture, range of motion, flexibility, balance, and strength. Our users have reported to us increased endurance and faster recovery. We believe that these results flow from a combination of factors, including a more efficiently functioning neuromusculature, and enhanced oxygen flow through an increased airway. The various and many testimonials by prominent athletes in several sports appear elsewhere on this website. They all relate immediate and substantial improvement in performance.
We have in hand results of a research study performed by a reputable US College with funding from us that compared the results of a traditionally-fitted custom mouthguard with a PPM™. We will be in a position to release the full research report shortly. At this time, we can provide a summary of the findings, as follows:
1. Vertical jump was significantly higher;
2. Peak power on the WAnT was significantly greater with the PPM™;
3. Significantly better performance was found for average mean power for WAnT + intervals.

relaxes the muscles in your face
I want to know their research methods... Was it strictly with mouthpiece vs without? was their a placebo? Were results taken over several days with rotating testing methods...
I still find it hard to believe.

PPM™ Signature Series
Designed and approved by a select group of "All-Time Greats" including Shaquille O'Neal and Terrell Owens, the PPM Signature Series represents the pinnacle of Makkar Advantage. In addition to the highly specialized diagnostics of the PPM Elite, the Signature Series products are specially designed in co-ordination with the endorsing athlete or other superstar, and bundled product offerings that include extended warranties and specialized services and other value added advantages.
The PPM Signature Series a neuromuscular power guard available only through our network of certified PPM dentists with Neuromuscular Dentistry training. The PPM Dentist utilizes sophisticated technology to pinpoint optimal alignment accurate to within less than 1 millimeter.
Fitting Process: PPM™ Signature Series
Over time, your nerves develop habits, and they then beat in patterns that are “hard-wired” into the brain. In most of us, these patterns are sub-optimal.
Step 1: Relax the Muscles
The first step in the PPM™ Signature Series fitting process is to relax the muscles to allow the jaws to come to physiologic rest - effectively de-programming the nerve patterns that accompany an improper bite and a misaligned jaw.
A TENS unit is used to provide mild muscle and nerve stimulation to relax jaw muscles in a process that typically takes 45 minutes.
Step 2: Computerized Jaw Alignment
Having relaxed the muscles, the PPM™ neuromuscular dentist then utilizes an advanced computer technology to track and measure the movements of the jaws. The technology enables the neuromuscular dentist to determine, to within a range of 0.7 millimeters, the precise 6 dimensional jaw position that unlocks the body’s potential.
Step 3: Capturing Your Unique Bite
In the optimal bite position, there is a gap between the upper and lower teeth that must be precisely and accurately captured and reproduced for each individual. The PPM™ that is made to precisely fill that gap is your very own “power key” – it is your custom-made key to unlock your body’s potential. There is no master key and no “one key fits all” solution. Every individual has his or her key.
The neuromuscular dentist determines your precise optimal alignment position, forms a precise custom mold to capture your unique “bite registration”. Your PPM™ Dentist will then take you through a series of exercises to ensure that your optimal bite has been captured.
You now have your “jaw position fingerprint” – your unique power key – used to produce your Makkar PPM™ Elite Powerguard.
Three Pictures Worth a Thousand Words
Scan 1: Before PPM™ – Natural Bite Position
Scan 2: Other “customized” mouthguard (non-PPM™)
Scan 3: With PPM™
Q: Which scans shows the BEST and WORST jaw alignment position?
HINT 1: the BEST alignment shows the least tension...smoothest lines
HINT 2: the WORST alignment is the one that shows the greatest tension in jaw and neck muscles…. looks like an “earthquake” just hit your mouth.
