My buddy ran a fox body without a turbo or anything. All motor, no interior, full cage. He'd go through two sets of tires and a full tank of gas by mid afternoon. I'd make it through the day with two sets of tires, and a half tank.

To get my car ('98 Mustang) to get quick, I'd have to drop a good $800-$1,000 for new engine / tranny. Not to mention I'd need a whole new rear axle.
