My odometer stopped at 91K miles. That was a year ago. I'd say it's 96K-100K miles. I'm eventually going to replace the fuel injectors and re-build the engine. It's a 1998 V6 Mustang, BTW.

The teeth on the side are supposed to be around the whole gear. Fucking piece of shit melts above temperatures of 110* I believe... and over time become weaker and will melt sooner. Just holding it in my hand was making it become malleable. Talk about a shitty design, eh?



As far as Ford Motors go... I don't have any problems with them. My family has always owned Fords, and as far as their track record goes, my Dad's old F-150 from back in the '80's had over 200K miles on it. Never had a problem. My Mustang, '98, with nearly 100K miles, no problems, there was a truck at my old Job, old piece of shit from the mid '80's that was ragged on hard core, ran like a champ. From my experience, they aren't bad cars unless you don't do basic maintenance. But what do you expect? A car that fixes and cleans itself?

The original motor in my S-10 was pushing 280,000. 4.3 v6 that was an old parts hauler so you know people beat the crap out of it.

man, i think the new ford and chevys look fucking awesome. the tundras look like fucking hell though. the tacomas on the other hand, although not a full size like im comparing them, are neck and neck in looks with the ford/chevy (from the f150's to the big duty diesel versions).
