Was not trolling, bought a ham maybe 4 years ago and cooked it. Once i took it out and started slicing there was a big nasty vein about 1/4" thick.

Tossed that shit in the trash and think i ate burgers that Easter.

Went to the deli yesterday and asked and they said it's not common but does happen.

I ended up buying the premium shit for $3.99/lb instead of the cheap shit at $1.89/lb hoping it helps due to better quality control.
