Taking My Blazer from Flab to Fab!

Decided that I wanted to make my blazer look a little sexier, so I started dressing it up a bit. Started by removing all moulding and badges and also switching my hatch with another one.

Next upcoming mods, which shall happen soon, are a 3''/4'' drop and also switching my front end with a jimmy's. Have a clean looking black mesh grill that I'm also putting on it when I get the jimmy front end.

Yup, did 2 coats, then clear.

They are good engines indeed, though the tranny can be a little fussy at times depending on how they are taken care of.

Before I rebuilt my engine, I got about 22 mpg highway, and 20ish intown. However, I bored my block out whenever I got it rebuilt and I get about 20-19 highway and 17-18 intown it seems now.

No, not yet. I'm going to be getting some envoy headlights in the future which come with HIDs in them. Just have to get the moolah, and figure what all I have to modify to get them to fit.

That shit is way over done, and imo phantom front ends only look decent on square body trucks. However, I was thinking of putting a trail blazer front clip later on if I end up bagging it.

you can probably get a c10-20 (not sure of the difference) for cheap. why not just get one and start working on it now? that way you're dumping your money into something thats timeless, not just dated?

Can't find one that isn't already hacked to shit around here for a decent price, everyone is buying them up it seems.

I don't really consider it dumping money, I had planned to work on the blazer before, just never had the time or money really.

Got my grill in Saturday, painted it up Sunday, and am now just waiting on the headlights to swap the front ends. Also ordered my lowering kit today.

New headlights and grill are in, what sucks is that I forgot that the jimmy/sonoma is alittle different then the blazer/s10, so I'll have to pick one up next week. Have a little gap between the bumper and the headlights, but it isn't too bad for right now.

Lowered the back end yesterday, ran into some problems with the bolts being rust locked, so it took us more time then we thought. Doing the front next weekend. It currently has that gangsta lean going.

Yes, but nothing over an 18'' wheel. I'm not really a fan of large rims. Was looking at some eagle alloy 16'' rims, but am not sure how much I really like them.
