I have two WD Raptors in a RAID 0 array using the Intel drivers on my Gigabyte P35 board. 128K striping, Windows 7 64. Memory is 4 gigs DDR2 1066 and CPU Intel C2Q at 3.4Ghz.

My score is half that of another member here with just Caviar Blues. He has faster memory and a similar processor. I am unsure of what drivers or version of windows he's using.

Contact your ISP.

Should I check to ensure I have Internet Explorer before calling?

Couldnt hurt, but I mean if you didnt install IE, then you just fucked up from the begining...

Maybe you should call your ISP's ISP...

Who are you talking about, Jrob and his new build?

Or me and my single WD?

You, stay out of this noob, you are in way over your head.

Oh, one more thing. If these are the older 74 GB Raptors, they are slower than dirt now. Single drives will surpass them.

This is my realm. Here, YOU are the noob. You forget that?

Fuck you new guy!

Where were you when he needed help? Nowhere... I helped him and solved the problem.

I was at work. I don't have the luxury of sitting on my ass and collecting money like you do.

I see this guy in this thread, is he actually gonna post anything, or was he trolling? Better have been for srs, or I won't help him again, lol.

It was srs, I like hoss so I was joking with him.

Yea, you and Jrob. And it may be the older ones. If so, :squint:

Yeah, if it's the older 74 GB Raptors, they have been outclassed by the newer single HD's, bro. The newer 300 GB Raptors will still put up a decent fight, but even they are getting outclassed by the newer WD Black's and etc.

Piss. Probably the bottlneck on my system then. >.<

HDDs are cheap enough now. When my beta key for Win7 expires I'll probably pick up a single fast large drive and do a clean install.

Pick up a Samsung or a WD Black terabyte if you do.I'm pretty sure those are the fastest in town now, but I'll check real quick and see.

If you're worried about your Windows Experience Index, to get to 6.0 or higher you either need an SSD or a RAID setup. It's really gay, but that's how MS does it.

Not the score, really. Just want faster boots and stuff. My RAID with these two still blows most of my friends' away since they have older SATA standard caviars, but eh. I want a cleaner look in my case and more room for some W/Cing this summer.

Get a Barracuda 7200.12 or Samsung Spinpoint F1. Fastest TB drives out there, for the moment.

Will look into it. My current build is pretty solid, but I rushed and kind of shortchanged myself in some areas.

I don't game on my PC as much as I thought I would, so it's slowly becoming a folding rig.

You're running pretty much the exact same thing I'm running, and it does everything nice and speedy!

I don't have a RAID, but I have 3 320 GB HD's that are getting full. Thinking about RAID'ing two of those Blue's, and getting a 1 TB for storage, and keeping a 320 GB for backup. We shall see.

I have a Q8200, which sucks for OCing but I managed to get it 50 percent over stable. Currently cooled with a lapped Xigmatek Dark Knight. Temps stay in the 50's with folding and normal use, case fans all low.

Just want all four cores going, so I'm going to do a small loop this summer.

Lel. I got's a Q8200 too. Not so bad for OC'ing, actually. I think mine's at 3.2? On some crappy heatpipe cooler that's abut 5 years old. Still holds about 55-60 C at full load, though.
