Boulder County sheriff's deputies are responding to a report of a plane crash in North Boulder that happened around 1:30 p.m. Saturday.

It's unclear if anyone was hurt, but The Denver Post is reporting that early indications show three people died following an apparent mid-air collision between aircraft near 4900 North Broadway.

Witnesses reported seeing a ball of fire and a parachute near the intersection of Broadway and U.S. 36.

Sheriff's Cmdr. Rick Brough said authorities are working multiple wreckage scenes, including an area north of the Gateway Fun Park.
just thought I'd pass it along since I keep getting update texts about it every couple minutes.

It's in Boulder. Probably another "experiment" like Balloon Boy.

I would guess they weren't commercial flights. Just guessing based on the parachute. Unless commercial pilots just dip out when shit goes bad? lol

I doubt it was private pilots too. Rarely do they wear parachutes, unless they are in acrobatic planes. I'm thinking more military.
