So you guys attempted to help me as to why my pc won't connect to the internet. I have done absolutely everything. Reinstalled windows, reset my router to factory settings, typed in about 5246 diff things on the command prompt and I still can't connect to the net. Do you guys maybe think my card is fried even tho it says its working properly in the device manager? I am going to hook it up to a diff connection tonight to test it and ill let you guys know.

My vote is for you to throw it out the window and buy a new one.
And no I didn't read the whole post.
And yes I think there should be a poll added here.

Hey guys, sorry for the late reply, I posted on break at work. I'm on my blackberry. Haha. But anyways, I have already called my isp with no prevail. The other computer in the house works with the net, so its not my isp. If I buy a new network card will it fix anything that's wrong with my connection that I may have fucked up??

sounds to me like the network card came pre-configured and when you reinstalled you didn't get those back. Did you reinstall windows or do a cd restore of the pc?

are the two computers networked and if so what OS are they running and which flavor (home, pro, ultimate, etc) If they are networked and the one working is pro we could remote into yours and remote from yours into the "broken" one if it is just a 80 issue

You didn't mess with any settings on your router, like port-forwarding when editing your game settings............did you?

pretty easy attempt to correct your problems would be to delete the entire network adapter from system hardware manager and refresh (it will find and reinstall)

Here is your first fuck up. could just opened ports on your router to fix the NAT problem on cod mw2..

He could probably just uncheck the IPv6 settings altogether since he isn't using them.

It was a cd restore, I opened the ports but it wanted me to do something else too, I tried not using ipv6 but it still don't work, in my command prompt it says echo request failed if that helps at all, this is of course after I typed net int I I r r
