So I have been selling some stuff off trying to A. get some serious bank and B. trying to unload stuff for spring cleaning. I put a ton of stuff on ebay with one of the items being Monster Turbine earphones. I put a 7 day auction and I have lots of people bidding. 1 fucking hour before the auction closes eBay cancels the auction saying that I can't have (not shure) in the title. Took them almost 7 days to figure it out and they cancel at 1 hour? What in the FUCK is this bullshit?

Raid their HQ and burn their servers.

If it's not Shure, why put it in the title?

I've never understood that...

Searching technique to find it. I feel they are comparable to lower end shure so if someone was looking for shure, these would be sufficient for some of the lower models (se series mainly)

But mostly it is just to get more people looking at them.

Can you put shure in the text for the ad itself and not the title and get away with it?

I just removed it totally. Kinda hypocritical if you ask me. Ebay uses all sorts of google identifiers to pull search requests yet we can't in the auctions?

Oh well, they will sell either way. 60 less than retail and 24 hours of playtime *shrug*. Just was angry.

GYM TIME! Wooot :D

If I'm buying something on Ebay, I know what it is that I'm looking for, and having to scroll through auctions that aren't what I'm looking for is just...annoying.

Bringing in more people looking at the ad is one thing, bringing in people that want to buy it is another :)

This. I hate when I look on Craigslist and I'll open up something that is BARELY related, then at the end it'll have a huge list of key words.

Link? You can't find monster turbine on ebay? *nudge*

X2, but this was very relevant. The turbines were actually a step better than the Shure's I was selling at the same time.
