When you are an adult (or think you are and act a fool) your ass is fair game, but kids shouldn't have to deal with anything until they get old enough to face the world. Parents put too much on kids thinking they are little adults because they talk or act like it, but it takes very little to crush their outlook on life until they are late teens. It's easy to forget that when they are acting so tough shit and big shit. Then you have kids like this where it is not anyones fault and they just have to live with it and deal with it and will never know how great having a normal childhood is.

Bullshit really.

Up here in Detroit, at the same school within a month:

One kid was doused in gasoline and lit on fire.
Another was kicked unconsious with a pair of steel toed boots. They showed pictures before and after. She was a really pretty girl. Absolutely disfigured after.

And yeah, it's getting much worse than when most of us were in school.
