I was checking this out to use it for my EQ? Opinions? It sounds like a great idea! Better then doing it manually with an EQ system.

Check out CA forums there are dozens of threads on it.. From what I have seen is basically seems like a lazy mans solution to SQ (or at least part of it) I almost and probably will still purchase the kit when I get a new car if there is nothing better on the market until then.

I was just on CA not finding that many "intelligent" threads on it. But I'll continue to look. And I'm lazy so this should work great :)

Yeah just got done reading a really long one. I totally am going to be picking this item up. it's not gonna be HUGE but I think it'll get the job done very well.
Meh, do it by ear.
Or if you're adjusting an H701 or something equally hideous to do manually, use an RTA and make adjustments after by ear.

No I have a AVIC-N4 and need something ti EQ after the fact cause it's got very low voltage on the RCA's and a small EQ. So was looking for something a lot better.
To do it by ear would be fine w/ me but I can't seem to pin down an EQ that doesn't cost more then $350 that'll do what the Impring will do....
But I'm sure you know of something

I'm just post whoring at this point, but I'm not a fan of Alpine products. I took my friends Alpine headunit after my Eclipse died...It fucking sucks. Wish I had my dead Eclipse back in.

Alpine HU's have been some of the best in the market?
Anything from the 9835-9887 anything that came out inbetween those models wasn't so hot though.

Something Audiocontrol wouldn't work? How many bands is the AVIC-N4 capable of by itself?
