Once I hit $500 I start to consider one, when I get to a grand I get an alarm before installing.

<$500 worth of gear in a beater it's not worth $200+ for an alarm to me. Only been jacked once 91 Accord (Trunk 'lock' does not do shit :fyi:) they got a MTX Thundersomething 360ish watts and a pair of RF 10's.

Think it's more staying on the low and not attracting attention to yourself that helps you more than anything if you can trust your peeps.
