We have plenty of tornadoes around here. I have had them hit a few miles from both houses but those are always at night. I really want to see an on the ground tornado sometime in my lifetime.

My roommate that is moving in tomorrow is a graduate student in meteorology...When he was looking at the room a month ago he said they were having severe weather back in Indiana where he is from and it was killing him not being able to be up there and watch it. He may be a storm chaser. lawl.

My old room mate loved severe weather and we went riding the roads during a tornado warning 2 years back. All 3 of us loaded up and headed the direction of the tornado. It was raining SUPER HARD and all of a sudden street signs started bending over. We knew we were near it from the 80+mph winds but never saw it. We went further up the road and saw a shit ton of cars under an overpass with a few cops. They said the tornado went right along 4-lane beside the overpass. We missed seeing it by 1/2 mile. :(

Water spout would be bad ass. Severe weather has always intrigued me.
